Engraved ID of the Smart Card that you want to recharge should be correct. DMRC will not be liable if you enter incorrect Engraved ID. Please note that this may lead to recharge of another card. If you do not show your card to AVM upto 10 days, the add value amount will be refunded back to your account within 10 to 40 days after deducting 2.5% of transaction value.

If card is lost by the commuter after web top before presenting it to AVM, then if top up on that card is done by another person, then DMRC is not responsible for this as all the smart cards issued by DMRC are anonymous. The Engraved ID is number written on back side of Metro Card.
