What are the terms and conditions to use this service?

Engraved ID of the Smart Card that you want to recharge should be correct. DMRC will not be liable if you enter incorrect Engraved ID. Please note that this may lead to recharge of another card.
If the web top-up is not availed on the card at AVM, the add value amount will be refunded back to your account within 11 to 30 days after deducting 2.5% of recharge value.

What do I do if I lose my card after doing online recharge but before showing it at AVM?

If card is lost by the commuter after web top before presenting it to AVM, then if top up on that card is done by another person, then DMRC is not responsible for this as all the smart cards issued by DMRC are anonymous. But if top up on that card is not done at AVM then DMRC will return the top up amount after deducting 2.5% of recharge value.

The Engraved ID is number written on back side of Metro Card.

How to register your card on DMRC?

User can register their card in DMRC Website using Add New Card button on MyCards page. Enter Card Number and click on GO button. The card will be attached.

What are the privileges of Registered user?

A registered user can make online recharge through the website. He can add multiple cards for the same login and can see the previous transaction(s) details for all the cards and with transaction's status.

I cannot register my card. Why?

It may be attached to another account or it may have reached the end of validity or may be the status is different.

What do I do if I enter a wrong email Id?

You can register again with the correct email ID.

What do I do if I do not get a confirmation mail?

Please login again with your registration details and click “Resend confirmation mail"

Can I close my account?

Yes. To close your account, unregister your card in the Register/unregister section of your account.

Can I add multiple cards in one account?

Yes, after registration, you can manage your profile and add/register multiple cards into your account. The transaction history for all your transactions will also be maintained in your account.

What to do if I forgot my Password?

If you click on forgot password link it will take you to a new page, enter captcha and click submit. You will get a mail with mail link to change your new password. In that page you have to enter new password as you need and click submit. Your old password will be reset and new password will be activated.

Can I get my DMRC card Top Up without registration?

Yes, the user who has not registered on the website can use Quick TopUp button available on Home section of web page.

How to Recharge your card online?

Recharge using Quick top up button available on Home section on webpage or by Do Payment option available after login/My Cards on DMRC and add your card with their credentials. Then,Select the Payment Mode (Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/Wallet) ,then Enter E-Mail Id and Mobile Number.Enter the OTP you receive at your entered Mobile number .After successful recharge from the website, show the card on AVM machine for top up. Now, the card is recharged successfully.

How to do Quick Top up Recharge?

Enter the Engraved Id of card, which is written on the back side of Card. Enter the desired amount to recharge card. Enter valid email id, if using Quick top up option. Click “Submit” for Payment options. Choose suitable option to pay the money (Credit Card , Debit Card , NetBanking or Wallet) and confirm payment details. After successful recharge from the website, show the card on AVM machine (present at all Metro stations including Airport Express Line ) for top up. Now, the card is recharged successfully.

How to do Recharge with registered Account?

You need to register your Card in your account by following "Add New Card" credentials. You can see the card details in that page after you registered. Enter the amount you wish to recharge on the specified card and then click Do Payment button. Then the amount will be added in "Shopping Basket". Choose suitable option to pay the money (Credit Card, Debit Card, NetBanking Or Wallet) and confirm payment details. By clicking on "Checkout" button it will take you to Payment Gateway.Enter Mobile number and OTP. After successful recharge from the website, show the card on AVM machine for top up. Now, the card is recharged successfully.

To avail the Web TopUp facility, do I need to pay extra money/service charges ?

No, this facility is free of cost to passenger and no service charge is required to be paid.

After doing online recharge, the amount did not reflect in my card. Why?

After completion of Online Payment, Visit Add Value Machine (AVM) for top up. Show your Smart Card on AVM, Press Add Value button on Screen of AVM to complete the recharge process. www.dmrcsmartcard.com.

What are the prerequisites to avail this facility?

Option 1: With registration
Customer should have a Valid DMRC Smart Card and Valid Email ID.
Customers can register themselves with www.dmrcsmartcard.com.
Option 2: Without registration
If you do not want to register, you can avail quick top up facility at dmrcsmartcard.com.
To pay for the recharge the customer should have a valid Credit card, Debit card, Net banking or Wallet

Will I be able to show my card on AVM immediately after doing Web Top Up?

Yes, as soon as you complete the payment through web Top Up, Go to Add Value Machine (AVM) installed (Near EFO/Customer Care) on all metro stations (Including Airport Express Line). Show your Smart Card on AVM, Press Add Value button on Screen of AVM to complete the recharge process. www.dmrcsmartcard.com.

When can my request for Web Top be invalid?

Your request will be invalid in case you enter a wrong engraved Id.

Why AVM machine is showing an error message as “No Valid Top-up available for this card”, during tapping smartcard at AVM to avail/top-up the recharge amount, while payment status of online recharge amount is showing as successful at website/mobile app?

In case when passenger is tapping smartcard at AVM to avail/top-up the recharge amount within stipulated time after successful payment for online recharge, AVM machine is showing an error message as “No Valid Top-up available for this card” due to any technical reason viz. improper tapping of smartcard on AVM machine at first attempt, in such scenario it is advised that passenger may try again on AVM to avail the recharge on next day till the stipulated time allowed for recharge.

Can I recharge my card the day I bought it?

No, sale of card to patron & Web TopUp of card on the same day is not possible. It can be done from the next day onwards.

No, there is no discount available for online recharge of any value.

After doing Web TopUp, I do not want to go to AVM, will my money be refunded?

Can I do multiple Add Values before going to AVM?

Yes, but the maximum value that will be maintained in your card is Rs. 3000.00 or as per DMRC Business Rule.

What is maximum limit of the balance that I can maintain in my smart card?

Currently, the amount is Rs. 3000.00.

Can I check my card balance online?

No, you cannot check your card balance online.
Visit any station and show your card on the TR CUM AVM (Installed Near Customer Care/EFO at all DMRC Metro stations including Airport Express Line) by touching Inquiry Button on AVM Screen.
